It is an island in the main area of the Charlotte airport.
I stopped here to wait for my boss to get in. So I ordered a double rye and ginger... holly cow!! Pretty sure they poured the rye and then just waved the can over the cup and called it good!
HSOF (Holly S**t on fire) this drink was stout!
It is an interesting place... sushi bar basically... with all kinds of flying machines spinning slowly over head.
Nice people... strong drink! -

Convenient sushi but not great.
Was in a sushi mood so this fit the bill but was not impressed. The server was pleasant enough but didn't ask how much time I had.
The rolls were beautiful but didn't taste as good as they looked. The rice were over-vinegared and slushy and the crab in one of the rolls was tasteless with an odd texture. Surprisingly bad for the amount of volume this location must get.
Will likely try some of the other places nearby before venturing here again. -

I agree with the other three star reviews. It's the best sushi place in CLT but that's because it's the only one. Seems to be a healthier option than barbeque or Chick-fil-A and the portions are good. But don't expect a decent sushi experience.
Rice is soggy and fish is old. But you're eating it in North Carolina, so Bon Appetite! -

No that I expected too much from Sushi at an airport... Nagiri both had too much rice. Shrimp was flat and without any hint of sweetness. The Unagi was ok. The sashimi was good I must admit, but cut too big.

Solid option at CLT, conveniently located to all terminals. I didn't know they have a location in the D concourse, so I probably should have gone to that one, but I've been to this atrium location so many times, I guess muscle memory kicked in. Reliable, fresh, although not spectacular, sushi with good-sized portions. Everything is a la carte, so it can get pricey if you add a miso soup or something, but not too bad for an airport. Service can be a little sporadic since they are often trying to figure out if you're really sitting down or just taking one of their tables, so don't be afraid to flag one of the servers down. Just be nice, please. I've usually told my server whether I'm in a rush or not, and they're good about timing once they know. Drinks are pretty average, so stick to wine and beer if you want to imbibe.
